CIVIL WAR OVERHAUL - Redux is a free, fan-made mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. The expansion mod pack's purpose is to fix what the mod's creator perceived to be errors within the Civil War section of the base Skyrim game. The software makes changes that involve the reworking of the Civil War's battle mechanics.

Many other mods for Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition, such as Skyrim Wyrmstooth Mod, work by adding new areas in the game. Instead, this mod alters the mechanics of existing game sections, primarily spies and forts. Civil War battles now require brute strength, strategy, and trickery.
